Testimonials of Dreams and Stars

Dear Sallyann,
Thank you and all the other Directors for this great opportunity for our children. Samantha had, in her own words, "the most fun she e v e r had". I believe continuing the Children's Theater will be a great asset for the children and communities in this area. It is a place to learn, develop and participate.

It also offers those a continued opportunity that don't quite make it into the seasonal productions of Starlight Theater. Thanks again.

I just wanted to thank-you again for the wonderful experience my daughter Emily had at camp! The day before it began she said "Do I have to go?" and by the third day she said "This is the best camp ever!" Emily has been bitten by the theater bug, just like I'd always hoped! So, kudos to all the hard working people who put their heart and soul into creating the Starlight Camp! Emily can't wait for her next adventure!

Sincerely, Sydney Davis

Sallyann: The show was EXCELLENT! The set was awesome! Exception- the sound equipment and sound management. But sound seems to be an issue in the BC auditorium. Brandy was disappointed in her performance. She could not hear her music, her mic was not on, and she heard voices over her performance. She told me she thought she was crazy! Brandy had a great time working with the younger kids. When you plan your next workshop or performance for that age group Brandy would love to help out! Thanks for all the time you put in for the kids. Have a great day. Wendy Haas

I am so grateful that Starlight Children’s Theatre gives Anthem children a “positive option” to acting out. My daughter Ali had an opportunity to perform on stage in a comfortable setting that was not intimidating in any way. Thank you thank you thank you!

Ok improvement suggestion: Just the sound system so we can hear the performers every word. The rest is Awesome!!

Sallyann,

Lucas has had such a great time in camp. I cannot thank you enough for pulling this off! It seems like quite an undertaking and something the AZ kids can definitely benefit from, as well as the community of Anthem. What a great program! These two weeks have definitely boosted his self esteem and confidence level, which is exactly what he needed at this point and time. He has had fun and met new friends in the process, which was an added bonus!

Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you around Gavilan Peak school this fall and around the neighborhood.

The show was great - thanks for making it happen!

We thought the Starlight camp for kids was THE BEST. Our daughter actually loved getting up every morning to attend and even was moping on the weekends because they were not "camp days." You all did a fantastic job and put on a full scale production with props and sets. It was really wonderful.

If I could add anything it would just be to have DVDs of the show available to purchase since we couldn't tape the actual show. That's the only thing I would add.

I do have many good words to share about the Starlight Community Children's Theater. This was my 6 year- old son, Drake's first experience with the Theater (other than watching mommy at her rehearsals) and he had a marvelous time interacting with the other children in a creative and learning enriched environment. The instructors were enthusiastic and helped the children learn at their own level. The choreography was creative and the use of colorful props was visually impressive. The kids really got "into" the music, and I know Drake enjoyed singing it outside of rehearsal time. The morning of the performance Drake was a little nervous, but after the show, on the way home, he asked "when are we going to do this again?". Thanks to all of you for your efforts with our children and giving them a wonderful introduction to the world of Theater.
